What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide.

Why we use it

We use these details only to read, handle and reply to your enquiry. We do not use contact form submissions for marketing or newsletters unless you separately ask us to do so.

Where it goes

Your message is sent to our business email inbox. Our email and hosting providers may process the information solely to deliver and secure that service. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics 4 uses Google Consent Mode. Until you select “Accept analytics”, it receives cookieless pings with analytics storage denied, so analytics cookies are not read or written. If accepted, it helps us understand which pages are visited and how the website is used. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain disabled.

Analytics page views include the page title, page path and a referrer. Only a numeric blog pagination parameter is retained; all other query parameters are removed. We do not send contact-form contents, names or email addresses to Google Analytics. Google may also process standard technical information such as browser, device and approximate location data. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under merchweave_cookie_consent. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence only for as long as it is needed to handle an enquiry and any related communication. We use reasonable measures to protect access to our email account and website.
